Slide Into Savings with Deals and Packages at Vermont Ski Areas

A good deal is exciting; a great day of skiing is even better. So when there’s a deal on a great day of skiing—that’s something that’ll make anyone slide downhill with a smile. Vermont’s ski areas understand the value of hard-earned bucks and offer a multitude of special offers, packages and other incentives that help lower the price tag for those looking to build some priceless memories on the mountain. 

Ski Vermont also gets in on the money-saving act, with the 5th Grade Passport. Remember: booking online and early almost always means a better deal.

Burke Mountain

Burke is more than family-friendly—it’s budget friendly, offering a number of deals and perks for visiting skiers. Not only does Burke Mountain have the greatest value on day ticket pricing in the Northeast but they off incredible midweek deals starting with Wicked Wednesday.  Every non-holiday Wednesday skiers and riders can gather two of their buddies and split the price of 1-day lift ticket three ways.   

Active military men, women, and their immediate family members ski/ride midweek at Burke Mountain absolutely free, and Burke also offers discounts for Seniors (55+) and college students.

Killington

For Killington skiers and riders, K-tickets are the best deal of the season (on sale until October 20, 2022). Any-day, any-age vouchers available for $89 per day, K-tickets are valid any day of the season, can be assigned to whomever you choose, and earn one additional K-Ticket for every seven K-tickets purchased in a single transaction. Interested in skiing and riding long after other resorts have closed? Killington offers The Unlimited Spring Pass to take advantage of the longest season in the East (beginning in March), and for anyone interested in all-season fun, The Beast 365 pass offers year-round access to Killington (including skiing, mountain biking and golf, plus an Ikon base pass, and a long list of discounts and perks—like 50%-off vouchers to bring a friend, get discounts on lessons, food, and more.

Mad River Glen

Plan ahead for the best deals at Mad River—for the lowest possible rates buy in advance and online. College students will have a hard time passing on  The Double Major College Pass, which includes a Sugarbush Premium College Pass and a Mad River Glen College (Twixter) Pass, good for unlimited skiing and riding at Sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen; and unlimited skiing at Mad River Glen. Plus, get 50% off lift tickets to all 22 Mountain Collective Resorts (except Sugarbush). With access to 171 trails and 20 lifts across three big mountain areas, the Double Major College Pass is a fantastic way to ski three great mountains without breaking your book budget.

Pico

New this season, Pico skiers can take advantage of the aptly-named P-ticket for $59 each (on sale through December 15, 2022).

Saskadena Six

Families can get more outside time together with the $109 Book-it School Pass for VT & NH students. Paired with the discounted Parent Pass, the whole family can enjoy a full winter of skiing and riding. And if the kids need rentals, Saskadena Six offers affordable $99 seasonal leasing for the kids. Outdoor enthusiasts should check out The Woodstock Inn & Resort’s Saskadena Six Package. Anyone skiing mid-week won't want to miss out on saving $30 on day  Saskadena Six day tickets.

Sugarbush

If its grumbling in the barbershop quartet, tension on bridge night, or a lack of focus on the curling team, Sugarbush can solve the problem with some on-snow bonding. Skiing in a foursome easy this season with the Quad Pack: four unrestricted and transferrable tickets for $449 (a midweek, non-holiday version is just $349). Of course there doesn’t have to actually be four people—anyone can take advantage of this deal for the 2022-23 season.
