Caledonia Spirits

Caledonia Spirits, based in Montpelier, Vermont, is the maker of Barr Hill Gin, America’s Most Awarded Gin. Founded by a Vermont beekeeper, the distillery uses local, raw honey as the key contributor of botanical depth in all its spirits. Caledonia Spirits produces Barr Hill Gin, barrel-aged Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat Gin, and Barr Hill Vodka — at their state-of-the-art, sustainable distillery in Montpelier. 

The Barr Hill Distillery & Cocktail Bar is dedicated to crafting world class spirits and cocktails that build the connection between agriculture and cocktail culture. Spiced Cranberry Mule

Ingredients

  • 2oz Barr Hill Gin
  • .5oz Cointreau
  • .5oz Unsweetened cranberry juice
  • Ginger beer to top

Build in glass with ice; top with ginger beer; garnish with a lime wedge, fresh rosemary and cranberries.

Hanky Panky

Ingredients

  • 2oz Barr Hill Gin
  • .75oz Sweet vermouth
  • .25oz Fernet Branca

Stir with ice; strain into a cocktail glass; garnish with an orange twist.

 

Tom Cat Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2oz Tom Cat Reserve Gin
  • ½ tsp Demerara syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters

 Stir all ingredients with ice; strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube; garnish with an orange & lemon twist.

 

Tom Cat Toddy

Ingredients

  • 1.5oz Tom Cat Reserve Gin
  • .75oz honey syrup
  • .25oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Hot water to top

Build in a mug; garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.

Walk on Water

Ingredients

  • .75oz Barr Hill Vodka
  • .5oz Braulio Amaro
  • .5oz Rosemary syrup
  • 1oz Fresh grapefruit juice
  • Sparkling wine to top

Shake everything but the sparkling wine with ice; double strain into a flute glass; top with sparkling wine; garnish with an orange twist and rosemary sprig.
