Cochran's Ski Area

They say Cochran's is for climbers; but that's only half of the story. Sure, just about every ride at Cochran's starts with one climb or another, but what goes up must come down! Here you'll find classics like Jimmy Cliff, IPT and Connector which pay homage to the old-school style of trail building that put Cochran's on the map. Add to those the newer machine enhanced additions of Skully's, Chutes and Ladders, and the trails located on the Preston side of the network - like Merritt Parkway, Lung Ta, and Feel the Bernie - and you've got yourself an incredibly diverse, demanding, yet rewarding rider's paradise. Cochran's is by far the most popular zone in the Richmond area and for good reason. It's a network best ridden for the first time with someone to show you around, but is sure to keep you coming back.
