Magic Mountain
Magic’s Black Line Tavern restaurant and Alpen Deck event venue is now open year-round. The expansive Alpen Deck built last fall makes outdoor dining and cocktails a special treat as the weather warms. And, the restaurant is air-conditioned inside if you need to escape the heat. Summer-Fall indoor and outdoor dining, with live entertainment, and Cornhole at the tent area begins June 22 and runs through October 29th. As of 7/6, new extended hours will be added for both lunch and dinner Thursdays/Fridays, as well Saturdays, from 11am to 10pm, and new Sunday Brunch and lunch menu from 11a-4pm, with dinner menu until 7pm. Most Saturdays will have live music and Fridays we all get together to play SINGO 7-9p,m, with a prime rib special.
With the new expansive Alpen Deck, we are now a major southern Vermont area wedding venue, so there will be some operating days where we are closed for private events, so please check the Magic events calendar for those postings. If interested in planning a wedding or major event/party, please reach out to BLT manager Josh Hearne jhearne@magicmtn.com or Kerry at kmara@magicmtn.com.

Summer Disc Golf
Magic Mountain National Disc Golf Course is open everyday from mid May thru October 31. Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports, and Magic Mountain has the challenging topography perfect set-up for New England-style disc golf courses. Come out to the mountain this summer and enjoy our full 18-holes championship course through crisscrossing open trails and wooded glades, with about everything nature has to offer in between.
Season Passes are inexpensive and are recommended (see below for online purchase info, with pass card sent to you for display on your bag while you are playing). Those without a pass must bring cash on weekends (exact change $10/person) for depositing in the cash box at the 1st tee, or use venmo: @magicvt; or use paypal via your phone: paypal.me/MagicGolf. Credit Cards/cash can be used in the lodge 2nd floor offices Monday-Friday as well as at the Black Line Tavern on weekends. Please check in during the week before heading out to play. The fee to play is just $10 per person. Those without discs who want to rent discs to play you can go to the lodge offices 2nd floor to rent discs from 10a-4p during weekdays. Rentals on weekends cam be obtained at the Black Line Tavern. The disc rental is $10, with a $10 lost disc rental charge for any disc not brought back.
The lodge facilities are open only to guests of the Black Line Tavern when it is open Thursday-Sundays, however, there is an outside port-a-potty for disc golfers near the base lodge.
Bug spray and long pants are recommended as players will be accessing both open trails and wooded terrain. This is a mountain course so be prepared to get some exercise going up and down in elevation on the lower part of the mountain. Bring your own water to stay hydrated.
Dogs are only allowed on course with a leash for the protection of others and please pick up after your dogs with poop bags and carry those out with you to keep our course clean. If we find dog poop on course or poop bags in our trash cans we will have to close the course to dogs. No outside alcohol allowed on course when the Tavern is open on late Thursdays/Fridays and midday on weekends.
