Vermont is the Star of Outside's 'Ultimate East Coast Ski Guide'

Outside magazine just released its annual "Ultimate East Coast Ski Guide," and Vermont is front-and-center as the star of the piece.

The article by former University of Vermont student and Sugarbush Resort Freeride Team coach Erme Catino leads off with an image from Stowe Mountain Resort. After a brief introduction, the story itself is topped with lengthy write-ups on Mad River Glen, Stowe and Smugglers' Notch Resort.

Catino's capsules on each area are fairly comprehensive, with sections entitled "Need To Know;" "When to Go;" "How to Get There;" and "Intel." Beginning with his own first-person experiences at each destination, Catino reveals plenty of interesting facts and insider tips to help potential visitors maximize their trips there.
