Warren, VT 4th of July festival

Burke Mountain

Saturday, June 28 & Sunday, June 29:  NEMBAfest. Enjoy a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend of riding, camping, demo-ing the latest mountain bikes, checking out all the gadgets and gear, and rockin’ to local food & drink in beautiful East Burke, Vermont!

Saturday, August 10:  10th Annual Burke Mountain Bike & Brew. A day filled with music, riding and sampling some of Vermont's best beers! 

Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 25:  Eastern States Cups Clif Enduro Lite. An event created three years ago by the race professionals at the MAXXIS Eastern States Cup is just what the doctor ordered. The Clif Enduro Lite event will offer an introduction to enduro racing in a stress-free setting at Burke Mountain in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Burke Mountain is a fantastic venue and the Clif Enduro Lite event will take advantage of some of the area’s best terrain with just the right amount of challenge and variety. More details at skiburke.com/events.

Craftsbury Outdoor Center

August 16-18, 2019, The VT3 Bike Race, Craftsbury Outdoor Center - New England’s premier mountain bike stage race, for riders by riders.

June-August 2019, Running Camp, Craftsbury Outdoor Center - For more than 40 years, runners of every level and all ages have come to Craftsbury for expert coaching, camaraderie, healthy food and an unmatched natural environment.

May 28-August 27th, Tuesday Night Race Series, Craftsbury Outdoor Center - Starting on May 28th, our weekly trail series offers a 5k run and 5 or 10k bike race every Tuesday, for only $5/race or $30 for the entire series - annual members and houseguests’ race for free!

Killington Resort

June 21-23, Vermont Bike & Brew, Killington Resort. This 3-day organized mountain biking event if for all skill levels with entertainment for the whole family!

July 12 & 26, August 9 & 23, September 6 & 20, October 4, Divas of Dirt Group Rides, Killington Resort. Female mountain bikers of all ability levels come together and share their passion for the sport while learning from each other and meeting others in the riding community. Free event with discounts on tickets and rentals available.

July 19-21, Killington Wine Festival, Killington Resort. One of the Killington Region’s signature events, this year’s Wine Festival toasts 17 years of tasting events in the heart of the Green Mountains.

Magic Mountain

Independence Day Celebration at southern Vermont’s Independent Ski Area; Magic will again host the Town of Londonderry’s Fireworks display on Saturday July 6 and it’s an All-American Party with cook-out starting at 6 P.M. and live band  featuring Road Trash from 7-11 P.M. on the deck, and indoor/outdoor bar. There’s even a parade downtown before the big event at 11A.M.

3rd Annual Golf Biathlon Tournament: On September 7, It’s the only golf biathlon tournament in the country with 2-person teams competing on 9-holes of regular golf at nearby Tater Hill Golf Course and 9-holes of disc golf at Magic Mountain National Disc Golf. It’s a scramble event like no other hosted by Fiddlehead Brewery and a portion of proceeds going to benefit UVM Children’s Hospital. A steak dinner is included and there are also games of skill after the tournament open to all to raise more funds for the charity as well as a live band. It’s a great day outdoors having fun and competing for a good cause. $100 pp entry fee covers all golf fees and dinner.

Alpine BrewGrass Festival: On September 21, Magic launches its 1st Annual BrewGrass Festival saying good-bye to summer and welcoming fall. It’s an all-day event with yoga, bluegrass music and Vermont craft beers starting mid-way up the Magic at Sunshine Corner with majestic views from 1-5 P.M.. Accessible by our new Green Lift, you’ll hear Johnny Davis and 6 feet Under, plus local favorite Ida Mae. Then the party moves down the Black Line Tavern for dinner and none other than Saints & Liars at 7 P.M. The views, brews and blues (grass) will be make for an epic Saturday!

Mount Snow Resort

July 27 - 4 Annual Blueberry Bash – Join us for a blueberry themed festival with live music, a BBQ, beer, along with free games and an obstacle course that will keep the kids moving.

25th Annual Summer Brewers Festival – August 31 & September 1 (12:00 – 6:00 P.M.). The renowned celebration of beer, music, and food celebrates its 25th anniversary this Labor Day weekend, with 100+ different beers and ciders on tap, as well as backyard games, hammocks, and a variety of food vendors.

22nd Annual Oktoberfest – October 12 & 13 (11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.). A Columbus Day Weekend tradition since 1997, Mount Snow’s Oktoberfest is a fan-favorite event with German fare and beer, along with Oom-pah music and fun games for both the kids and adults.

Smugglers' Notch Resort

Masters - June 22-29, PDGA Pro Masters Disc Golf World Championship, Smugglers’ Notch Resort. One of the most prestigious competitions in the sport of disc golf, on Smugglers’ two world-class courses, with plenty of opportunities for spectators.

July 4th - July 4 Independence Day celebration, Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Perhaps the most American celebration of July 4th in the nation, Smugglers’ invites the 40th Army Band back again to set the soundtrack for a carnival and fireworks display to the backdrop of Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains.

Stowe Mountain Resort

Friday Artisan Markets at Spruce Peak Village Center. Featuring a variety of food, local goods, art, music and family fun. Dates: Every Friday, June 21 through August 30. Times: 1 – 3 P.M.

35th Annual Stowe Foliage Arts Festival - October 11 – 13 - Fall is festival time in Vermont and Stowe celebrates foliage color with the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival. 200 juried artisans exhibit and sell a wide range of contemporary and traditional craft work as well as original art, photography, sculpture and specialty food products. Stratton Mountain Resort

July 5-7 - Mountain Friends and Freedom at Stratton Mountain. Celebrate the Fourth of July with family activities, scenic gondola rides, craft brews and barbecues, and fireworks on July 5 and live music from Little River Band on July 6.

August 9 - August 11 - OCR Championships at Stratton Mountain. Watch athletes put themselves to the test with three days of professional obstacle course racing, including a Team Relay and local fundraiser open to the public.

Sugarbush Resort

July 4th, Warren 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, Sugarbush Resort. Come enjoy the most energetic and lively parade in the state in Warren Village, followed by activities, music, and fireworks at Lincoln Peak.

Friday, August 2 – Saturday, August 3, Bear North Festival, Sugarbush Resort. The festival includes artwork, workshops, beer garden, food trucks, vendors, and live music from bands like Pink Talking Fish, Mad Mountain Scramblers, Soule Monde, Sophistafunk, and Seth Yacovone Band.

Sunday, October 27, Tiny House Fest, Sugarbush Resort. Enjoy workshops, panels, design reviews, building resources and more in the ever-growing world of tiny homes.

Suicide Six / Woodstock Inn

July 4th - Gates open at 5:30 P.M. for picnicking. Concert begins at 7:30 P.M. - Vermont Symphony Orchestra Summer Festival Tour! Pack a picnic basket and celebrate this year’s program, “Strike up the Orchestra”; the concert closes with a dazzling fireworks display accompanying Tchaikovsky’s famous 1812 Overture and the beloved marches of John Philip Sousa.

July 5 - Gates open at 5 P.M. Concert begins at 6 P.M. The American Vinyl All Star Band Music Festival. Join us for this special music festival as the American Vinyl All Star Band plays hit after hit of the legendary music from their original iconic bands with special guest appearances and local food vendors.

September 15 10 A.M. - 2 P.M. The Woodstock Triple Crown. Join fellow riders for this enduro-style race featuring a course that begins with a set loop at the Aqueduct Trails, followed by a pedal to the Mt. Peg Trail Network, and finally to the Suicide Six Bike Park, with an epic final epic up and downhill loop. Awards and food to follow.

Quechee Club

Thursday, July 4 - 31st Annual Family Pentathlon. Teams of 4-6 compete in a variety of fun competitions with prizes for winners!

Thursday, July 4 - 4th of July Family Celebration. Dinner under the big top, carnival games, music and a grand fireworks display makes this a memorable night for everyone in the family.

Monday, August 19 - Sunset Kayak Trip. Join for this annual favorite as we paddle Grafton Pond, perfectly timed to enjoy the wildlife and beauty at sunset.
