Killington Resort

Killington’s free summer concert series – Cooler in the Mountains – is a staple of Vermont summers. With an expanded nine-week series beginning July 6, top names from the national music scene will be taking the stage for FREE outdoor shows. So, grab a lawn chair, a beach blanket, the whole family and head to the Snowshed Base Area for this family-friendly event presented by Long Trail Brewing Company and Rock 94.5. Magic Mountain

Magic will have live bands and acoustic musicians throughout the summer playing in the Tavern and out on the deck. Look for Friday evening deck acoustic music while dining while bands will play many Saturday nights in July and August. Stay tuned to the summer music scene starting on July 5 and 6 at MagicMtn.com.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort

Smugglers’ Notch is home to some remarkably talented musicians, running the gamut from chilled out indie-soul and rollicking blues-rock to folk and smooth, sultry jazz. House musicians provide sweet acoustic sounds and laid back reggae, perfect for winding down after a day of activities. And there’s something for everyone. While you’re belting out Rihanna tracks at Liquid Courage Karaoke, the kiddos can crank it up to 11 at the Teen Jam Sessions with Smugglers’ certified coolest resident, Jammin’ Sam. Stratton Mountain Resort

Summer is not only a time to bask in the sun and and greenery of Southern Vermont, but it’s also when Stratton starts its vibrant music series. Throughout the summer, Stratton Mountain Music brings some of the country’s favorite acts to the local stage. On July 6, enjoy the Little River Band and 10,000 Maniacs on Aug. 3. On Fridays, stroll through Stratton Mountain Village and enjoy the variety of dining options and outdoor seating, as well as free, live music throughout the village. Sugarbush Resort

The brand new Bear North Festival comes to Sugarbush’s Mt. Ellen August 2nd and 3rd from the same folks behind the ever-popular SIPtemberfest. The festival includes live music, artwork, workshops, beer garden, food trucks, and vendors. The festival features music from artists including Pink Talking Fish, Mad Mountain Scramblers, Soule Monde, Sophistafunk, and Seth Yacovone Band. Around the Mad River Valley, many local restaurants offer live music throughout the summer including Peasant, The Big Picture, Localfolk Smokehouse, Waitsfield Farmers Markets and more. Suicide Six / Woodstock Inn

Suicide Six will be offering two outdoor concert events this Summer. On July 5th The Vermont Symphony Orchestra Summer Festival Tour! Pack a picnic basket and celebrate the sound of summer in Vermont with the VSO! This year’s program, “Strike up the Orchestra!” was crafted by guest conductor Sharon Lavery, making her VSO debut. The concert closes with dazzling fireworks. On July 6th rock out to The American Vinyl All Star Band Music Festival as they play hit after hit, of the legendary music from their original iconic bands.
